Here’s a mockup of a video player skin we did in class. It isn’t graded as stringently, so I didn’t spend nearly as much time on it as on the others (though it was still a lot by other standards.) I was going for a very clean, futuristic feel, but I also wanted it to look like it could feasibly be used as a skin. Now that I think about it, it reminds a lot of Eve from the upcoming Wall-E. There’s also a mini-slideshow to show how it might animate. Much of detail is lost at low-res but I wanted it look like the white bookends are projecting a hologram.
